The project documented the Female Cult of Okule in a number of villages in the Nawuri area of Northern and Volta Regions of Ghana. Culturally and historically significant texts were recorded, including accounts of vanishing cultural practices and libation prayers, songs and dances which are known to include historical information and locally archaic languages.
