Theatrical Performance and Documentation of some Ghanaian Creative Art Forms (School of Performing Arts).

Creative art and cultural forms like Dance, Music, and Theatre have played significant roles in the process of self-reflection and identity construction in Africa. They can be used to develop African societies in new Afrocentric ways. African indigenous knowledge and cultural modes have contributions to world history and civilization; but these have not been strategically trumpeted in our formal educational institutions. This project brought into limelight a new perspective of theatrical performance that uses an intra-disciplinary approach involving dance, music and theatre for documenting theatrical performances.
