Anthropo-choreological Relevance of Ghanaian Traditional Dances.

Project Lead: Dr. Sylvanus Kwashie Kuwor, Department of Dance Studies.

This project sought to investigate the anthropological and choreological relevance of four traditional Ghanaian dances namely, Bima, Kundum, Kpatsa and Agbadza. It explored these dances in their indigenous settings with the aim of establishing, documenting and disseminating how knowledge in dance can provide understating of a people to ensure community cohesion and peaceful co-existence.
